NLC 2024: A Discovery of Learning

Gusa Regional Science High School-X is an institution that offers better future to every young learners actively participated the National Learning Camp (NLC)successfully. The Camp is a comprehensive, voluntary program aimed at improving learning outcomes and strengthening student capacity.

The first week of the National Learning Camp was full of engagement and excitement. The activities gives us unique experience molding our hearts and mind. We focuses on different assessment to measure one’s ability.

On the second week, we are guided by our teachers helping us to develop critical thinking, communication and problem solving skills. They gave us lectures, and interactive discussions and they provide us with some activities that would challenge and simulate our intellectual curiosity.

During the third and last week, we gave fun filled activities that could also boost self-confidence and resilience out of the challenging tasks that were provided to us. National Learning camp coordinators insure that we are safe and are having fun.

Towards the end of the program, we learner showcase’s our talent and outputs indicating what we have learned from the camp. A Culminating Program was set as part of the National Learning Camp program implementation. The students receives certificates to those learners who participated on said program. One thing that encouraged and motivated the learners to attend the sessions was the free snacks given to the campers charged to parents and from our generous supporters.

For us learners, the NLC provided us the chance to improve our learning capabilities, through activities and learning experience which later can be use in preparation for our next grade level. Lastly the NLC program provides passion for both teachers and students of Gusa Regional Science High School-X.
